Sadly, not all suppliers and sellers of diamonds adhere to these reputable standards, and irresponsibly continue to source diamonds illegally or unethically. It is very important to know that your diamonds are sourced ethically (e.g. not in conflict areas where people were used as slaves to extract your diamonds).
